Regional Cooperation to Support Non-Revenue Water (NRW) Management for the Provincial Waterworks Authority Thailand, Thailand  Location : Thailand Client     : Environmental Cooperation – Asia (ECO-ASIA) Start Date : December 2007 Description : Through a regional cooperation programme, ECO-Asia facilitates collaborative partnerships between Asian water and sanitation service providers to enable the transfer of best practices, expertise and technology through peer-to-peer exchanges, on-the-job training and technical assistance to support PWA in systematically addressing NRW in water production and distribution systems. The objective of the arrangement is to promote the adoption and replication of successes and practical solution from Ranhill to PWA based on a defined PWA-ECO-Asia work plan and as locally applicable in Thailand. Status : Completed

Regional Cooperation to Support Operational Eficiencies and Customer Relations Improvement for the Bac Ninh Water Supply and Sewerage Company Bac Ninh, Vietnam  Location : Vietnam Client : Environmental Cooperation – Asia (ECO-ASIA) Start Date : 2007 Description : In Bac Ninh, ECO-Asia supports an arrangement between Ranhill, a utility in Malaysia that has successfully addressed NRW and established customer orientation, and Bac Ninh Water Supply and Sewerage Company (BNWSSC), a growing service provider that prioritizes needs for operational efficiency improvements and greater customer outreach. The objective of the arrangement is to promote the adoption and replication of successes and practical solution from Ranhill to BNWSSC based on a defined BNWSSC-ECO-Asia work plan and as locally applicable in Bac Ninh. Status : Completed

Twinning Arrangement between Ranhill Utilities Berhad of Malaysia and Maharashtra Jeevan Pradhikaran of India  Location : India Client : Environmental Cooperation – Asia (ECO-ASIA) Start Date : April 2008 Description : Ranhill and MJP have developed a joint work plan consisting of activities that include technical assistance, study visits, and training on network hydraulic modeling, design and operations of district metering areas (DMAs), water auditing, pressure control, leakage detection and overall NRW management, and water production system improvements. Status : Completed
